Memorial Garden

On Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Christ Church, our new memorial garden was blessed.  It is a place where the ashes of our loved ones can be buried, and whose lives can be celebrated with their names, date of birth and death on the bronze memorial plaque   Benches are placed around the slate and paver stones of the garden.  Plum trees, plants, small and large, and a sundial, have been added, both for shade and for beauty.  We will remember with thanksgiving and love our forebears for all that they are and all they have given to us, and to Christ Church.  Come; spend a few quiet minutes in the garden.  Remember, too, how Jesus spent time a garden in prayer.

There are opportunities to add a tree as a memorial gift so our garden can grow in beauty and serenity.
